When being asked what they think of Canada, most people around the world might answer “maple syrup”, “hockey”, “snow/cold”, “peaceful”, “freedom”. When my parents immigrated from Hong Kong to Toronto 26 years ago, Canada was a free and stable nation. The tax was high (even higher today) but the general public were loving and welcome multiculturalism.
Since the Liberal government took control, Justin Trudeau has been pushing his LGBT and “equality” agenda to all corners of the society. The result? Christians have been demonized, marginalized and ridiculed because the Word of God condemned any sexual immorality, be it homosexuality, adultery or fornication.
The LGBT group promotes “love”, “tolerance” and “equality”. Yet, we witness over and over again that certain LGBT advocates hate and are intolerant to Christians who speak the truth about sins and the coming judgment of God. Most importantly, there is hope in Jesus Christ who forgives all sinners willing to repent and live a new life.
We have seen Christians being arrested, jailed, fined and dragged in legal battles when they refuse to adopt the LGBT lifestyle. The Christians are not stopping those people from living a LGBT lifestyle; they are simply exercising their freedom of speech and religion protected by Constitution (or Bill of Rights in Canada) .
Yet workers of darkness cannot “tolerate” when someone shine the light on their deeds and they have to call the police or lobby the lawmakers to stop Christians from expressing their views.
Recently in June 2019, a pastor in Toronto was arrested while preaching on the street, which is perfectly legal in Canada. In the following video, I ask that you to judge if pastor Lynn was “hateful” or “violent” during this unfortunate incident.
Please pray for pastor Lynn and the LGBT advocates. We all need God’s mercy.

It’s starting to become an epidemic. I call it the “Pride Month Arrests”.
I already told you about the arrest of David Lynn on June 4th, a Christian man who was peacefully sharing the love of God with pedestrians in the Church St. area of Toronto. He was mobbed and attacked by LGBT supporters, and when the police came to investigate, he was the one who was arrested. The victim was victimized.
Well, I just heard from the Rebel that another peaceful Christian, Dorre Love, experienced a similar fate last Friday, June 21st, also in the Church St. area of Toronto. He was mobbed and harassed by LGBT folks, then the police came and arrested him. They did not arrest the assailants, but the victim.
And of course, you will recall the “hate crime” charge laid against Christian activist Bill Whatcott for handing out Gospel literature at the 2016 Gay Pride parade in Toronto. (You can sign our petition for Bill here).
What is happening to our country? Why do we see LGBT mob rule in our streets? Why are the police ignoring real harassment and violence? Why are they targeting Christians? This is getting serious!
What’s next? Concentration camps for Bible-believing Christians? Maybe this is not so far-fetched.
I had the opportunity and privilege to meet with David Lynn yesterday in Toronto. I spoke with him about his arrest and what this means for Christians, churches, and priests and pastors in Canada. I also got to meet his lovely wife and four-month-old son.
Pastor David Lynn struck me as a patient, kind, and reasonable soul. His number one passion is to share the love of God with everyone all across Toronto. He really cares. He really wants to make a positive difference in this world. There was absolutely no hatred in his message – no anger towards homosexuals.
It is an absolute crime that people like Pastor David are the ones being persecuted and punished. If we do not act now and stand up against this injustice, who knows who will be next.
As Pastor David says, “We’re all in this together and we have to stand with each other.”
I invite you to watch my full interview with Pastor David. It shows his heart, tells his story, and unmasks the injustice that took place when he was arrested on June 4th. It is a short, twelve-minute video that I am sure you will want to share with others.
