How to survive in the coming collapse – Practical suggestions

OK.  So you are convinced that we are going to experience a social collapse in the Western world.  But how do we prepare for it?  Here are my suggestions:

    1. Again, get right with Jesus Christ.  If you are not saved, seek out your Christian friends, go to a local church, talk to a pastor, read the Bible and pray to God.  You must be saved no matter what happens tomorrow because you would end up in Hell if you don’t receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.  Hell is a real place and it is much worse than the collapse that is coming on this earth.
    2. If you do not have much investment, spend your money on storage of food and water.  Don’t delay.  When the system collapses, everyone will be cleaning out the grocery stores in no time.  There will be fight and violence everywhere when people are desperate.  So be prepared.
Now there are many “survival” and “prepper” sites, so do your research.  It can be overwhelming at first, but I have picked out some starting points for you.

      • http://www.happypreppers.com – a general site that touches on all areas of survival preparation.  This site is not pretty at all, but it is packed with information.  It also have lists of “37 things you need to hoard”.
      • You would want to store some long term freeze dried food that has a shelf life of 25 years.  If you are able to receive parcels within USA, these stores are worth for checkout:
      • http://totalprepare.ca – This store is in BC, Canada.  The price on long-term food is more expensive than MyPatriotSupply, but you get free shipping within Canada.  It also sells a lot of survival gears.  Again, compare the price, you might find the same item selling for less at your local outdoor/camping store.
      • Start buying bulk beans, rice, grain, lentils in large bag.  With the right storing condition, these dry foods can store up to 25 years.
      • Start to learn making fermented food.  They are healthy and do not require refrigeration
      • Keep in mind that you might lose power someday so do not buy too many freezer food.
      • Consider buying 55 gallons food-grade water tank to store water.    They look like this:
      • Consider buying portable water filters.  I find that Berkey filters are very well suited and not expensive for this purpose.  You can get them from http://www.consciouswater.ca/berkey-filters/
    3. If you have investment in stock market, RRSP, bonds, fixed-income vehicles, read my post here.
    4. Get rid of your TV, or more precisely cable/satellite subscription.  The mainline media is controlled by the elites to pollute your mind.  Stop paying attention to worldly music, entertainment, books, movies, etc…..
    5. Start learning some useful survival skills.  Here are 2 books that I own:
    6. Start building relationships with other like-minded people.  We would need help from others in order to survive!  Spread the world.  Build community.
    7. All will pass and Jesus Christ will return to take us home.  Yeah!
